Types of personal data, purposes and legal basis
When you create an actor profile for casting and are more than 15 years of age
When filling out our standard form, we process the following personal data about you:
A. Name
B. Surname
C. E-mail
D. Phone number
E. Age
F. Date of Birth
G. Gender
H. Address
I. Information about social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
J. Information about your appearance (height, eye colour, natural hair colour, etc.)
K. Details about any previous acting experience
L. A description of what preoccupies you
The processing of the above personal data is with the intent for you to be cast as an actor for both films, TV series and/or commercials. SILO thus assesses your profile for the purpose of being able to match you with relevant production companies, instructors and/or advertising agencies. By filling in and submitting the form, you thereby enter into an agreement with SILO that we may assist you to be cast for roles in films, TV series and/or commercials, free of charge. Our basis for processing the above general personal data is Article 6 (1) (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR)”
We do, however, obtain your prior consent for us to store your personal data in our internal archive for up to two years from the date upon when we received the completed form, cf. Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR. In addition, we will obtain your prior consent in order to forward the above-mentioned personal data to production companies, directors and/or advertising agencies, cf. Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR.
In the event that you are offered an acting contract, you have the opportunity to submit your contract for us to review on your behalf. In this case, we will process your personal data in the respective contract as a result of our legitimate interest in being able to offer you advice about the contract cf. article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR.
When you create an actor profile for casting and are less than 15 years of age
If you are under the age of 15, you are still able to create an actor profile with the intent to be cast by production companies, instructors and/or advertising agencies.

Deletion
Your personal data will generally be stored for two years from the date upon when we have received your profile. After two years, we may obtain your renewed consent for us to continue to store your personal data in our archive in order to fulfill the abovementioned purposes. However, you have the right to revoke your consent to remain in our database at any time. In that case, we will delete your personal data immediately after you revoke your consent.
In the event that you submit your contract with a production company, an instructor and/or an advertising agency to us for the abovementioned purposes, we will delete this contract immediately after the consultation.

Handover to data processors and passing on to other data controllers
In order to fulfill the abovementioned purposes, we may provide third parties with access to your personal data which, on the basis of a contractual relationship with SILO, provides relevant services. That could be e.g. IT providers, email providers and other people who can help review your profile or who can assist in maintaining the database of our actors. Such providers will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions on the basis of data processor agreements entered into.
Your personal data will only be transferred to production companies, instructors and/or advertising agencies on the basis of your prior consent, in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR. SILO is not responsible for the production companies’, instructors’ and/or advertising agencies’ processing of your personal data and these have an independent duty to inform you about their processing of your personal data. The disclosure can be done by SILO transferring your personal data directly to production companies, instructors and/or advertising agencies via e-mail or by production companies, instructors and/or advertising agencies receiving a temporary login to our internal database, where your personal data is stored.
Your personal data will not be transferred to data processors or data controllers established in countries outside the EU/EØS.

Security
We protect the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of your personal data. Your personal data is stored in a closed and secure system that is only accessible by few, selected persons. SILO never shares your personal data in public places without your prior consent.
In addition, we have internal policies on information security, which contain instructions and measures that protect your personal data from being destroyed, lost, altered, published without authentication, and from unauthorized persons gaining access to or knowledge of it.

Your rights
- You have the right to obtain access to the personal data we process about you.
- You have the right to object to our collection and further processing of your personal data.
- You have the right to correct and delete your personal data, however, with certain statutory exceptions, including the Accounting Act.
- You have the right to request us to limit your personal data.
- In certain circumstances, you may also request to receive a copy of your personal data as well as the transmission of the personal data you have provided to us for another data controller (data portability).
- You can revoke any consent you may have given at any time.

Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of changes, the date at the top of the Personal Data Protection Policy will be updated accordingly. The applicable Privacy Policy will be available on our website. In the event of significant changes, you will receive notification of this via e-mail or as a message via the app.
